Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal are two of the top clubs in the sport of soccer at the moment and as both prepare for a crucial UEFA Champions League showdown at Signal Iduna Park in Germany, each team is fully aware that the top spot in the ultra-tight Group F could be on the line with a win and some help. Dortmund and the Gunners are tied atop the pool, since each club has earned 6 points in 3 matches. Italian Serie A opponent Napoli has also earned 6 points, helping to solidify Group F as the tightest, toughest and perhaps most interesting four-team pool in the Champions League.

Previously meeting at Emirates Stadium in England on October 22, Jurgen Klopp watched as his Dortmund squad upended the current Barclays Premier League leaders by a 2-1 mark. Thanks to goals from Henrik Mkhitaryan (16') and Robert Lewandowski (82'), The Black and Yellows were able to stave off a 41st-minute goal from Gunners' star Olivier Giroud, earning their second win in three UCL matches this season. Looking to build off their last UCL win, Jurgen Klopp is optimistic about playing in front of the home crowd with a chance to take down Arsene Wenger's Gunners squad for the second time in just over two weeks.

"We actually believe that it is an advantage to play at home and if we put all our quality on the pitch, we are very hard to play against. We are also very well prepared," Klopp said. Even if we had won the last 70 games at home, it wouldn't make any difference. It would be just a history, just statistics so therefore I wouldn't say the 14 games unbeaten away for Arsenal are an advantage. We are going to do video analysis and show the players some things, but it is going to be a tough game."

Hoping to continue their stretch of 14 road matches without a loss (13 wins, 1 draw), the Arsenal Gunners and head coach Arsene Wenger feel that inspiration can certainly be used as a driving force, especially up against a top team such as Dortmund. Wenger also noted that his side dropped the recent match to the Bundesliga squad because they exposed themselves while desperately trying to earn a victory.

"Maybe we had not the same belief at home because we failed in a few big games and you could feel there was a bit more skepticism," the Gunners boss said. "It's important but it's not just how far you run, it's how intelligently you run and often the best teams can run less. I believe we lost the first game because we wanted to win it at any cost and we exposed ourselves. I don't think it will affect us. It will strengthen the resolve of my team to show a different level."
