Ariel Castro, the man who held three Ohio women against their wills in his home for nearly 10-years, could be facing the death penalty for his crimes. The Latin Times previously reported on the fact that Ariel Castro may be sentenced to death following a trial.

Ariel Castro is currently in jail on $8 million bail. The prosecutors are looking to add more charges on top of the kidnapping and rape charges he is already facing.

According to the Daily News Ariel Castro may face charges of aggravated murder for beating his victims so hard they suffered miscarriages. Michelle Knight, one of Castro's victims, was pregnant five times and each time her pregnancy was forcibly terminated when Castro starved the woman for weeks.

When Amanda Berry found the courage to call for help and escape her prison along with Michelle Knight and Gina DeJesus, it was later determined that a 6-year-old girl hiding in the house was Berry's daughter.

The photo of Amanda Berry reuniting with her sister at the hospital also features Amanda Berry with her arm over her daughter who is laying in a hospital bed. The 6-year-old's face is blurred out in order to protect her identity.

NBC affiliate WKYC reports that DNA testing proves the little girl was fathered by Ariel Castro. According to a report by Fox News, Amanda Berry was forced to give birth to her daughter in a "plastic kiddie pool." Michelle Knight was forced by Castro to deliver Berry's baby, even reviving the child when she stopped breathing.

Fox also reports Castro will be charged for every unwanted sexual act he forced upon those women. It is possible that the counts could be numbered in the thousands.

After Castro's DNA was used to prove he is the father of Berry's daughter a sample was sent to the state criminal investigators in an attempt to link Ariel Castro to other crimes in Ohio as well as throughout the country.

When police questioned Ariel Castro about what he had done, Castro said he was a "cold blooded" sex addict and also blamed his victims for taking a ride with a stranger.

The Prosecutor on the Castro case, Tim McGinty, is taking his assignment personally saying to the press, "This child kidnapper operated a torture chamber and private prison in the heart of our city."

"The horrific brutality and torture that the victims endured for a decade is beyond comprehension."
