Authorities in Arizona arrested 18-year-old Laquint H. Cherry as a suspect in a bomb threat aimed at the courthouse where the Jodi Arias verdict was read out.
An investigation into the Jodi Arias bomb threat was launched on Wednesday after the guilty verdict was read out against defendant Arias. A tweet was sent out which threatened that a bomb would go off in the courthouse where Jodi Arias heard the guilty verdict. The tweet referred to a "Big BoooooM" that would make some noise at court.
According to CBS around 10:30am Thursday morning the Maricopa County Sheriff arrested Cherry and another woman after searching the Value Place Motel, where the couple was staying.
CBS also reports that a bomb squad found ammunition in the motel room but did not find any materials needed to make a bomb.
