Angelina Jolie may have gone through a lonely phase following her split with Brad Pitt, but she has gotten over it. In fact, there is so much going on in her life right now that she doesn’t even have time to think about her ex-husband.
Jolie has been out and about with her children over the past few months, either down for a good night out in town, going on shopping sprees, visiting museums or zig-zagging across the country to attend movie premieres. She’s also been busy promoting her new project with Walt Disney, “Maleficent 2.”
On Monday night, Jolie appeared on the red carpet for the star-studded premiere of “Dumbo” in Los Angeles, California. She attended the event with four of her six children — Zahara, 14; Shiloh, 12; and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
Although Jolie won’t play a role in “Dumbo,” fans will see her return to the big screen as she reprises her role as the villainous enchantress in the “Maleficent” sequel, “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.” Walt Disney dropped a new poster for the film earlier this month, along with the announcement that they are moving its release date up by seven months. Previously slated to debut on May 29, 2020, the film is now scheduled for release on Oct. 18, 2019.
With so many things on her plate, Jolie only has her focus on her kids and her work. She does not even have plans to get serious with anyone right now, or at least until her divorce with Pitt has been finalized. Earlier this month, a source close to Jolie squashed rumors that the actress is currently dating a British billionaire. “She is not dating any actors, no billionaires from Europe and she is definitely not going to be seeing Brad again,” the source said.
In a recent interview, Jolie revealed that Pitt’s addiction to alcohol played a major role in their separation. “His addiction to alcohol was the reason why he lost many opportunities in Hollywood,” Jolie revealed. “He was even jealous because I wouldn’t let him promote my business. Nonetheless, he’s the father of my children and I don’t want to talk about it too much,” she added.
