Brad Pitt might play a dirty trick to win the custodial battle over his children with Angelina Jolie. As a result, the “Tomb Raider” star is reportedly worried that her ex-husband might use evidence of her past drug use to get the upper hand.
The source of the news was an article published by NW magazine, according to Gossip Cop. According to NW, Pitt might use Franklin Meyer, a man who said that he was Jolie’s drug dealer, to smear her name and win the case.
Jolie is reportedly stressing on the possibility that Meyer might reveal unsavory details on her past behavior. “Having Franklin rear his ugly head again with threats to release more sordid details of her past is the absolute last thing Ange needs right now,” a supposed source told NW.
The magazine also wrote that even if Jolie has long since left those days behind, it would still be a huge embarrassment for her if Meyer does a tell-all. “It’s hugely embarrassing since those days of being some scabby drug-dependent young girl are long behind her,” the questionable source added.
The publication added that Pitt has the motive to take advantage of anything negative about his ex-wife to paint her as “an unfit mother.” After all, Jolie had “done such a number on him the past few years, making him look like an addict with anger issues,” the source added. “This could be just the ticket he needs to drag her back down to earth.”
Gossip Cop got in touch with someone close to Jolie who said that the story is untrue. The actress does not fear that Pitt might use old video footages showing her using drugs.
In the first place, it’s questionable if such tapes even exist. Second, using those supposed tapes, which were taken way before she met Pitt and had kids, will surely have little impact on their custodial case.
Franklin Meyer claimed to be Jolie’s drug dealer in the nineties. “She was at my place,” Meyer told Life & Style in an interview. “I was filming her and she’d taken coke,” he said. “She went directly to do The Charlie Rose Show.”
He later sold eight photos to Star Magazine, which it published in December 2017. Some of the photos reportedly showed the actress on a dog leash.
