Tonight on “American Idol” the top three -- Caleb Johnson, Jena Irene and Alex Preston -- perform for one last time before the finale. Caleb, Jena and Alex have been the most consistent in the competition and that’s why they are where they are, a week away from possibly performing in the finale and that is when it really counts. One of the three remaining contestants will be eliminated tomorrow night and the remaining two will be performing for your votes on the Idol stage in next week’s finale.
The three remaining contestants have very different voices and styles of performing. Caleb is the rocker type. His performances are always over the top and loud, but he has delivered week after week and he could be the frontrunner to win it all. Not to mention in last week’s semifinals he did tone it down a little bit and nailed both performances. When it comes to Jena, she has a strong and powerhouse vocal and she brings down the house week after week as well. Alex has made it this far because of his artistry and ability to make each song his own. Tonight’s performances will be the deciding factor on how people vote. The contestants will be singing three songs each and tonight’s theme is Judges' picks, Randy’s picks and Hometown picks.
Don’t miss “American Idol” tonight at 8 p.m. tonight on Fox to see how your favorites perform and then don’t forget to vote for them. Who will win?
