American Eagle Skinny Skinny
Is it real or is it a joke? American Eagle has announced their skinniest jeans ever. YouTube screenshot

If you thought there is no more skinny than leggings, think again.

American Eagle Outfitters announced Thursday a new, revolutionary product -- a limited-edition range of spray-on jeans.

The Skinny Skinny Jeans product page on the label's website shows two cans, one in indigo and the other in bright light, each priced $49.95, and are described as "our skinniest and tightest fit yet and is so comfortable, you'll think you're not wearing anything at all."

And that's exactly what the commercial shows -- and ad convincing as few are. It features models sketching, skateboarding and playing music in this barely-there denim. The cast describes how much they love skinny jeans, which can never be skinny enough.

"I love really skinny jeans," said one of the actresses. "I feel like these were made for me!"

The ad, which has been launched in the American Eagle blog and YouTube, has sparked many an amused comment, questioning whether the product is real or not.

When prompted to the website to buy them, customers are not allowed to select color or order -- a window pops informing that the product is temporarily sold out.

Can this be real? Judge for yourself below:
