"Almost Human" continues its two night premiere event tonight, which means that episode 2 will delve deeper into Fox's new sci-fi series! The promo video for episode 2, "Skin" gives fans a good look into how J.J. Abrams new series will unfold, beyond the mystery of the organization, while investigating crimes Kennex and Dorian will have to navigate through life, love, and of course sexbots! In "Skin" the crime fighting team will discover sex trade sexbots after a seemingly routine traffic stop. As if sexbots weren't creepy enough for you, episode 2 takes a serious twist when they discover that the sexy androids are made with real human skin and human DNA. In order to figure out who is creating these advanced robots, the team will need to wrangle a "living" one to study.
While attempting to discover where the sexbots originate from, the team uncovers a murder. From the promo video for "Skin" it seems like the murdered mechanically shut down the victim's heart! Dorian also describes a new tool that can track anyone anywhere as the "new trade for the black market." Maybe this new weapon will assist the team in finding the murderer, or it could just make more trouble for them. The last part of the promo video was a snippet of Kennex and Dorian riding in the car together, the partners are fun to watch when bickering and teasing each other. Dorian is imitating Kennex's newly unemotional tone after speaking to Detective Valerie Stahl on the phone. With a possible romance brewing between Kennex and Stahl, and the on screen chemistry between him and Dorian, "Almost Human" is shaping up to be a hit.
Tune in tonight, November 18, for episode 2 "Skin" at 8:00 p.m. on Fox. And if you miss the all-new episode, be sure to watch it tomorrow online available through the Fox live stream.
