Hilaria Baldwin is not willing to let the Internet trolls bring her down. Last weekend, the 32-year-old yoga instructor fired back at one of her Instagram followers for saying her pregnancy photos were “too perfect,” “shameless” and “not real.”
In a long post, the Spanish beauty explained how a conversation with a friend helped her see the situation from the bully’s point of view and without getting offended or offending anyone, she replied in the classiest, most perfect way.
“Hopefully you will read this and accept me for who I am,” the mother of two wrote. “But that is entirely up to you and your opinion is your right, not one that I can demand.”
She continued, “Let’s begin with your words: ‘shameless,’ ‘perfectly puckered,’ ‘pretend to be perfect,’ ‘not real.’ I’m sorry I don’t have any ‘warts’ now, as you told me if I showed them I’d be ‘cooler.’ I did once as a child on my foot but that got burnt off at the doctor’s, maybe that was the peak of my coolness.”
Throughout the text, Hilaria questioned the reason behind the anonymous hater’s remarks, “I have never done a cosmetic procedure and I rarely wear makeup. So what is wrong with my pictures? I am just me.”
After assuring that her pregnancy images have never been retouched, she clarified that all she’s been doing on social media is sharing “real moments” of her life because she “wants to be real.”
She concluded her message saying that the intention behind these words was not to be negative; she simply wanted this person to hear her out.
“And I am enjoying life, which is ultimately what it’s all about, no? Namaste, my friend,” she finalized.
Hilaria and Alec Baldwin got married on June 30, 2012, and are proud parents to Carmen, 2, and Rafael, 10 months. They announced they were expecting a baby boy back in March.
