This week a tragic passing caused shockwaves in the Latino entertainment industry following the news that Adriana Campos had died. The 36-year-old Colombian actress was on the road with her boyfriend Carlos Rincón when the incident occurred. Although many speculated on the reason of what caused Campos' death, an autopsy has revealed that it was due to the heavy hits they received during the car crash. "The cause of death was not the immersion," said Jaime Vélez, Director of Hospital de Salgar. "It was multiple injuries." All the traumas and grave wounds happened simultaneous that caused her death. Campos left behind a 1-year-old son and was expected to marry her fiance in February of next year.
Campos and Rincón were traveling in Colombia when the latter lost control of the vehicle. The car fell into the Cauca River and were both found dead. Theories on how the tragic accident occured have been rampant. One person said that Rincón probably dozed off while behind the wheel, while other people believe they were victims of homicide. The way they died is devastating and we just hope that they are in a better place.
Adriana Campos worked on telenovelas like "Victoria," where she shared the screen with Victoria Ruffo, Arturo Peniche and Mauricio Ochmann. Campos had a romantic relationship at the time with the latter. "I just found out by mutual friends about the death of Adriana Campos and her partner," Ochmann told People en Español."My sincere condolences to his loved ones. I know this is a hard hit for her family and friends ... I'm terribly sorry."
