An Oklahoma mother traumatized a group of young children after she invited an actor dressed as "Mrs. Bigfoot" to her daughter's sixth birthday party.
The mother, Brett told 2 News Oklahoma that she originally planned to have a fancy birthday cake at the party but opted for plan B: Bigfoot after plan A fell through.
"We just thought, I mean she came with balloons and a bow and a tutu, so I thought 'oh this will be cute and fun,'" Brett said.
"Well my kids did not have that reaction," she admitted.
The children were horrified when Mrs. Bigfoot, who goes by the nickname Cinnamon, poked her head through a window with balloons and a gift.
Brett shared a video in which the kids can be heard screaming for their dear lives.
"That one time we hired Bigfoot Schenanigans to surprise our sweet girl for her birthday party and it went epically wrong!!!" Brett captioned the video
The children eventually calmed down and warmed up to the makeshift Bigfoot after the parents gave her a hug when she made her way inside.
Pictures at the end of the clip showed the birthday girl giving a hug to the hairy Bigfoot.
However, Britt said she had learned her lesson and will probably order a princess or Spider-Man next time.
"I would just recommend it for a good time because obviously by the video my kids thought so too," Brett said.
"But they don't want her to come back though," she said.
The video instantly went viral, and netizens can’t get enough of the hilarious clip.
One user wrote: "ALL of those kids are going to need therapy."
While another added: "I could watch this all day. So funny."
And a third said: "Can you say traumatized kids. I would do it too!"
Some crazy parents are now looking to hire the hairy creature to terrify their own children.
One TikTok user asked: "Where do I hire this for getting my kids to straighten up?!"
And a second said: "Mean! Totally something I would have done to my kids!"
While another wrote: "All you parents who said they'd do this ... you're my kinda people. I laughed so hard I may have peed a little."
