Ever since Chrysler premiered its 2013 SRT Viper during the 2012 New York International Auto Show back in April, it has become one of the most high-profile returns and one of the most talked about cars of the year.
Now, SRT has just announced that the new Viper will make an appearance at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance this weekend to reveal the new 2013 SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition, complete with the iconic GTS dual white racing stripes on blue paint that was featured in the very first Viper GTS Coupe back in 1996.
Familiar and all-new at the same time, the Viper GTS Launch Edition will also feature an excellent set of five-spoke polisehed forged-aluminum wheels that are meant to be a contemporary interpretation of the original Viper GTS wheel designs. Finally, each Launch Edition model will come with a serialized dash plaque to identify its exclusivity. Production of the Launch Edition will certainly be limited, but SRT has reserved from announcing exactly how many will be made.
One thing is for certain -- the examples will be gone fast. Don't believe us? Check out the initial release GTS Launch Edition images below:
