The official debut of the MINI Paceman will be held at the upcoming 2012 Paris Motor Show while its online debut will be held next week. However, the wait is essentially over as fully undisguised images of the upcoming three-door MINI Paceman crossover leaked today.
The MINI Paceman promises to offer more sporting appeal over the Countryman. Sitting 0.4 inches lower and losing 1.6 inches in height from the Countryman, the Paceman's more aggressive coupe stance is also 44 lbs. lighter than the Countryman as well. Two engines will be available at launch -- a 120-hp powerplant in the standard Paceman, and a 181-hp engine for the range-topping Paceman S.
