Hollywood actress Zoe Saldana and her husband Italian artist Marco Perego are officially parents! According to a friend of the couple, "Zoe and Marco are delighted, Zoe has been ready to drop for some time and they are both ecstatic to be meeting the twins." Zoe gave birth in an LA hospital this week, however, the names and genders of the babies are not yet known. In August, the famous actress confirmed the rumors about her pregnancy through the video she made for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in which her husband did it instead.
In early October, the "Star Trek" beauty confirmed she was expecting twins when a reporter asked her if she planned on dressing up for Halloween. She replied, "I might. I might need three costumes." Saldana has always talked about her desire to start a family. "I'm Latin—we start young, honey!" she admitted on the Lifetime series The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet in April 2012. "At 22 you're like, 'I just wanna hold something!' You want a little critter." It is so beautiful that what she always wanted finally happened and double the joy. Congrats to the new parents! We can't wait to see the little bundles of joy!
