The agreement is worth over $2 billion per season. Sunday Ticket has been a part of DirecTV since 1994 and they had been paying $1.5 billion per year on an eight-year contract that expires at the end of this season.

It’s not the first time has partnered with a streaming service to air games. The league has an 11-year agreement with Amazon to air Thursday night games that began this year.

The NFL Network and NFL RedZone have been available to YouTube TV subscribers since 2020. Starting next season, Sunday Ticket will be available as an add-on package for YouTube TV.
