Kids in high school will often pull pranks on one another, it goes with the territory when you are a teen. Chances are at some point someone will tease you about something or pull a prank on you. One yearbook prank pulled by 17-year-old Kaitlyn Booth resulted in a possible felony charge and the student's arrest.

The yearbook prank felony started when Booth a junior at Hickman High School in Columbia Mo. decided to alter the name of a fellow classmate while working on the yearbook, UPI reports. After the faculty advisor approved the yearbook for print, Booth went back into the computers and changed the last name of Raigan Mastain to "Masturbate."

CBS News says Booth was arrested for the yearbook prank on May 14. No charges have been filed yet, but the high school junior could be facing a possible felony.

Once faculty learned about the yearbook prank felony they decided to collect all the yearbooks back from students and manually correct Mastain's last name. The process took about 12 hours. Had they decided to reprint all 720 yearbooks, the cost, ibtimes.com reports, would have been $41,000.

When Raigan Mastain learned of the prank she told reporters, "I was kind of annoyed. It was stupid but I wasn't that upset."

The recently graduated Mastain went on Twitter and blasted Booth, saying "Wanna get bold? Say it to my face lol not sweating it though, last time I checked I'm not in high school anymore."

CBS says that Mastain was shocked to learn the yearbook prank may result in a felony. She doesn't believe one mistake should follow Booth around her entire life. Mastain does, however, agree with the school's zero tolerance police about bullying and property damage.
