Yandel suffered an accident yesterday while filming a segment for "La Voz Mexico." The coach of the musical competition was rushed to a hospital in Mexico City after an incident that involved a "Polaris/Razor" vehicle. The singer remains in stable condition and doctors suggested he remain in the hospital for further observation. The medical team has done multiple studies on the singer to make sure everything is ok and they hope to have a clearer picture on his health condition. "To all my fans and family I thank you all for your prayers and good vibes," he wrote on Twitter. "I am recuperating and thank God everything is fine." Due to Yandel remaining in the hospital, the coach will have to sit out "La Voz Mexico" this weekend where they have hit the live shows round. "Unfortunately we have to inform that due to Yandel's condition, he will not be able to participate in the semi-finals for 'La Voz Mexico,'" his rep said in a statement. "We also communicate that the concerts that were schedule with Wisin in 2 cities of Mexico, Merida and Guadalajara, unfortunately, following doctors orders will have to be postponed for the beginning of 2014." Fans with tickets to these performances will be valid for the rescheduled dates and on Monday, December 9, a further statement will follow to announce the exact dates of the concerts.

“After an accident while driving an ATV after filming several spots for 'La Voz ... México,' Llandel Veguilla, best known as Yandel, was hospitalized. He’s in stable condition and recovering, but he will remain in the hospital for 48 hours in observation. Him, his family and his team are very grateful for all your prayers and messages of support,” said Armando Lozano, Yandel’s manager, in a statement to Latin Times.
