'Yago' Telenovela: 5 Reasons To Watch Return Of Iván Sánchez To Univision

On Monday, May 30, at 10 p.m, EST/9 p.m. CST, Iván Sánchez will be returning to Univision with "Yago." The telenovela took a week-long break to make way for "Tres Veces Ana," starring Angelique Boyer and Sebastián Rulli.

The series produced by Televisa seems to be getting intense as hinted by a recent preview the Spanish-language network aired. To welcome the drama back to primetime, here are the five reasons you cannot miss its return:

1. Iván Sánchez: The above picture proves that "Yago" is appointment television.

2. Gabriela De La Garza: We cannot get over how much chemistry the lead actors have. They have so much tension between them that keeps building and building. We can only imagine that this will continue to rise until it all explodes in an epic scene and we must be there to watch.

3. Producer Carmen Armendáriz already previews what will come next. She recently wrote on Twitter: "Everything that is coming to 'Yago' are jealousy, crimes, sex, more betrayals and confessions. It's a strong story, don't stop watching. I promise you that what we will tell you [on the telenovela] will be of your complete approval. It will get hot."

4. Cast: We also love how the cast is a different ensemble. Although we have seen many of the actors in different productions, mixing them all up is something new. All of the actors seem to be committed to their characters and involving themselves with the storyline. From the direction, we can tell that the cast is not just reading lines, they are living everything that they say. That is something as we asviewers, appreciate greatly.

5. Story Arc: Just like the tension between the characters Iván Sánchez and Gabriela De La Garza play in the series, the story arc of this production is a constant build-up. "Yago" has returned for revenge and little by little he will befriend them to learn their weaknesses and use it to his advantage when the time comes.
