Xbox One owners have more to be excited about with the consoles next system update! New reports suggest Microsoft will be adding a bunch of new features aimed to improve several key components like the console’s Blu-ray player application and wireless connectivity with the controllers.
In regards to the consoles Xbox One’s Blu-ray player, this new update allows for 50Hz video output for anything that’s been recorded at 50Hz. Additionally, the Xbox One’s accessories like the controllers and headset adapters will also be getting their firmware upgraded for better wireless performance. Lastly, a silent reboot option will be available for the console when running in Instant On mode. This feature will allow the Xbox One to essentially auto-update then return to standby mode.
Last month it was revealed that the big April Xbox One update will add adjustments to the consoles Friend Notifications. The update will add a new progress bars for game saves, improving the overall social components of the system, and fine tune some more details on the Kinect. For now there is no official release date for the Xbox One update but Microsoft is aiming for sometime this month.
