It seems the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 next-generation console wars are still at a tie. Both have launched with almost the same amount of games, apps for the console and even console issues. But now Microsoft has announced that the next-gen console has already sold 1 million units around the world. Which is the similar amount of consoles sold of Sony's PlayStation 4 console last week upon the first 24-hours of release, November 15.
Xbox's Yusuf Mehdi thanked all gamers who purchased an Xbox One and supported Microsoft. "We are humbled and grateful for the excitement of Xbox fans around the world," said Xbox's Yusuf Mehdi. "Seeing thousands of excited fans lined up to get their Xbox One and their love for gaming was truly a special moment for everyone on the Xbox team. We are working hard to create more Xbox One consoles and look forward to fulfilling holiday gift wishes this season."
