'X-Men: Apocalypse': Is This Really Hugh Jackman's Wolverine Costume?

Hugh Jackman has been playing the role of Wolverine since the franchise made it to the big screen in the year 2000. The films have been going back and forth, and in between plot lines. Because of that, we haven’t seen the evolution of all super heroes as they are known in the comic books. Wolverine’s character however, has a full movie about his origin. With the new movie “X-Men: Apocalypse” coming out May 27, 2016, rumors about Wolverine's costume started surfacing. The media announced that the first trailer had been released and that the Australian actor was indeed wearing the original costume.

Comicbookmovie claimed 20th Century Fox released its first image of Hugh Jackman in his Wolverine costume for “X-Men: Apocalypse.” The photo shows the Australian actor wearing the yellow/orange Wolverine suit, complete with the face mask. Jackman is also seen giving off an angry scowl while he brandishes his claws. The image was captioned “FIRST LOOK: Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine in X-Men: Apocalypse!” This information, however, was later denied. Apparently, the whole thing was a hoax. We guess we are going to have to wait until the premiere date is closer to see if the "X-Men" character will finally give fans what they want.
