"The X-Factor" returned with a bang last night when it was revealed that one contestant that was sent home packing was coming back. The "wild card" was 15-year-old Josh Levi from Paulina Rubio's Boys category who started out the Motown-themed night singing "Lovin' You." With the 13 finalists set win the record deal, who is in and who is out from the competition is completely up to the public. However, due to a glitch in the on-air graphics, the votes that were cast last night will be discarded and all contestants will perform their "Save Me" song to remain in the competition. "A lot of you noticed there were some problems with the voting numbers at the end of the show tonight...you were right!," Simon Cowell wrote on Twitter. "There was an issue so everyone has to sing their save me song live tomorrow and America will vote on that performance."
"The X-Factor" finalists will have another opportunity to remain in the competition as Cowell added, "Mistakes happen. But now I have 24 hours to prepare my groups for tomorrow night. Let's hope they all deliver. Now they will understand what pressure means. It's happened once before. It's live tv. You have to deal with it, tough for the contestants though. But you have to dig deep and deliver. For a couple of contestants they must be thanking their lucky stars they get to sing another song tomorrow." Official word from "The X-Factor" team states that the Top 13 acts will perform their “Save Me” songs for America's re-vote, in a live, one-hour performance show airing tonight, Thursday, Nov. 7 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed). The results of the votes will be revealed in next week's show that will air Wednesday, Nov. 13 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.
