The WWE has reportedly dismissed NXT wrestler Nash Carter, known as Zachary Green in real life after his wife and fellow wrestler Kimberly Lee (formerly Kimberly Frankele) accused his husband of domestic abuse.
In a Twitter post, Lee shared photos of her getting beat up after Carter was allegedly wasted. The caption read:
"Hey NXT, this is my face after your tag champ Nash Carter got wasted and hit me so hard he split my lip open," Lee tweeted. "He told me I’m a wrestler so I’m always marked up. I’ve hid this for a year and even forgave him. But I can’t hide it anymore," it added.
Green being fired by the WWE was confirmed by Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp although the WWE has yet to officially announce its piece on the matter and was later confirmed by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer.
Green, who was one-half of NXT tag team champion MSK, also has more than the alleged domestic abuse to deal with.
Aside from that, he is under fire for giving a Nazi salute with his facial hair groomed to look like Adolf Hitler.
"Just another look into the kind of person Nash Carter is...." she wrote. "NXT, WWE, I’ve hid so much for so long because I was so mentally abused. Not to mention the countless anti LGBTQIA+ statements him and his family make….. I was so ridiculously brainwashed. So manipulated. And it’s finally over. I will never allow myself to be abused like this again."
Ringside News reported that the allegations of Lee turned out to be false. However, it was the Nazi salute that reportedly got Green fired.
Lee eventually deleted her Twitter accounts days after making the allegations. This was after she drew backlash for making false accusations at Green.
Carter alongside Wes Lee was NXT Tag Team Champion, the duo won Championship titles at Stand & Deliver.
