The Undertaker, also known as Mark William Calaway, is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame at WrestleMania 38.
There is no denying that the “Dead Man” has earned his place in that circle. And as far as future inductees, the many-time former WWE champion mentioned that several people come to mind as far as deserving to be included in the Hall of Fame circle, the Dallas Morning News.
One name that he mentioned is no other than his wife and former WWE Diva, Michelle McCool.
"There's several. Off the top of my head, and this is going to sound really super political, but I believe my wife [Michelle McCool] should be in," Undertaker said. "She was one working in an era where women didn't get nearly the opportunities that they do now, and she fought so hard for the women to kind of get more of a spotlight put on them. She was actually reprimanded once for having too good of a match with Melina. That's a true story."
Calaway went on to explain the work ethic of McCool at that time. She was in a class of women that hardly got opportunities but still come to mind as far as WWE Divas are concerned.
"But for her work ethic and what she did in the time period where they weren't giving a lot of opportunity, I think she deserves a nod. And, my goodness, there's a laundry list of male talent that I can run off," the Undertaker stated.
Calaway’s argument makes sense and seeing McCool be part of the WWE Hall of Fame circle makes sense.
For now, the iconic WWE star is busy preparing his speech for the Hall of Fame ceremonies. After that, he could mention more names who deserve to be alongside him after WrestleMania 38.
“I've got to get this speech put together. Then, we'll figure out who else goes in. ... I've got papers all over the place with notes and ideas. It's been a while since I've had this kind of nervous energy, if you will," Calaway said.
