The official game trailer for WWE 2K14 has been released on YouTube and the game will be available October 29.

The trailer for WWE 2K14 shows WWE superstars both past and present competing in realistic game play in front of sold out crowds at major WWE events like Monday Night Raw and WrestleMania. WWE 2k14 will feature current superstars John Cena, the Rock, Ryback, Sheamus as well as past icons like Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin and the Macho Man Randy Savage.

On last night's episode of Monday Night Raw WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler announced that the Rock would be the official cover superstar for WWE 2K14. Always looking to keep their fans engaged the WWE announced an alternative cover art contest for WWE 2K14.
New York, NY - June 24, 2013 - 2K today announced a new contest giving the WWE Universe a unique opportunity to design its own WWE® 2K14 video game cover artwork. WWE Superstar The Rock® is confirmed as the game's official cover Superstar, but for the first time, 2K is giving consumers the ability to create their own designs for the chance to appear exclusively on the inside of game copies at retail outlets.
The official cover contest press release also stated that contestants can go to wwe.2k.com/covercontest in order to choose from a variety of images featuring WWE superstars as inspiration for their artwork. They can then promote their cover using Twitter and Facebook.

The winner's artwork will be featured within the game's package and the winner will also receive a copy of WWE 2K14. The contest will remain open until midnight ET on July 23.
WWE 2K14 will be available on PS3 and Xbox 360 as well as the PS4 and Xbox One but the game will not be released for the Wii U console. Brashgames.com calls this a "further blow" to the Wii U gaming system.
