A woman who accidentally walked backwards into an airplane propeller while taking pictures has died from her injuries, according to a report.

Amanda Gallagher, 37, suffered critical injuries after backing up into an airplane propeller Saturday afternoon at Air Capital Drop Zone in Derby, Kansas. She was taken to the hospital where she later died from her injuries, as reported by KWCH.

Gallagher was said to be taking photos of people getting on and off planes at the airfield, where many people visit to go skydiving. Her family told KAKE that she was an experienced photographer and skydiver, and would share her photos taken at the drop zone to her photography page, AG Photography.

"Amanda Gallagher was kind, adventurous, creative and beautiful inside and out. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend and will be greatly missed," a Gofundme created to help cover funeral expenses stated.

The investigation into the incident remains ongoing, but authorities are looking into it as accidental.
