According to People en Español, “Addicted” star William Levy and actress girlfriend Elizabeth Gutiérrez have split for good after over 10 years of relationship. A source who is close to the couple revealed the decision has been tremendously hard on the couple as the have two children together: 8-year-old Christopher and 4-year-old Kailey. “Any decision we take will be between us. All I ask for is respect for her sake and our children’s,” said the actor through his manager when the news broke. The source also assured there are no third parties involved in the rupture. Rumors of their separation had been going on for a few months, involving numerous infidelities between Levy and his co-stars while filming in Mexico.

Gutiérrez took to her Twitter page right after the news broke, telling her fans to “never regret anything, especially if you did it for love!”

The couple wants to keep things as amicable as possible as the Cuban actor once said there’s no role he’s ever cherished more than being a father, and that he’s extremely proud of his two children.
