Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may relocate to Africa for official business and residence. However, some surmise that this is more of banishment than anything.
According to Cindy Adams of Page Six, she was told that even though Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not particularly liked by the palace, they are being treated like rock stars. Allegedly, an insider to the royals shared that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may be shipped to Africa and there, made to reside semi-permanently.
The insider shared that this possible relocation will be far from what Prince Harry wants, even though he once said he feels most happy and comfortable in Africa. Instead, the move will be the consequence of Markle and Harry’s actions.
They reportedly caused too much stress and distress, as well as press attention. Allegedly, the royal family is unused to all the drama and the two should be shipped into another realm.
Members of the royal household staff are reportedly patiently watching what was unfolding, noting that the development could be interesting.
The insider also said that Prince Harry is not pleased that Markle is spending so much on designer clothes. His friends do not like the former “Suits” actress as well. Once they are shipped to Africa, Markle is said to become a mere extra and not a “leading lady,” which could reform the two.
It remains to be seen if these speculations will come true.
Meanwhile, Markle is just doing everything she can to help other people. She recently gave a sneak peek of her upcoming capsule collection of charitable workwear in her Instagram story. The collection stands to be of help to one her many royal charities - Smart Works. This charity helps women to enter the workforce.
The clips showed her hugging and interacting with models and photographers, whom she just surprised with her sudden appearance. "Meghan surprised everyone at Smart Works when she showed up for the shoot," which took place in London, the insider reported to Harper's Bazaar magazine.
For the collection, the Duchess collaborated with notable brands Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, Jigsaw, and Misha Nonoo. She unveiled this project back in July in British Vogue and detailed that the items in the collection will be sold through a one-for-one basis. For each item purchased, an item will be donated.
"Not only does this allow us to be part of each other's story, it reminds us we are in it together," the Duchess of Sussex said.
