Paulina Rubio is a successful Mexican Singer, actress, model, business woman. These days, she is not in the news for anything related to her success in the entertainment world. Ana Rosa Quintana, President of Cuarzo Productions, asked a judge for Paulina Rubio to be detained whenever she stepped foot into Spain.
In 2005, Paulina started a legal process against the Production company and the Spanish media for reproducing declarations from one of her ex- employees. She lost the case but has been ordered to pay $63K , but this has taken nine years.
On Feb. 25, Paulina was cited by the judge to respond to the case but she failed to make an appearance. This is why Cuarzo Productions asked the Spanish Civil Police that Paulina be detained and under judicial disposition when she first steps food on Spanish soil.
She had filed a lawsuit against the shows “Dónde Estás Corazón,” "Aquí Hay Tomate” and "Crónicas Marcianas" for an amount of $750K for libel, these saying she could be gay. Quintana claims Rubio who has been delaying the payments for around five years should be accused.
According to Ricardo Ibañez, Cuarzo Productions attorney, they are thinking of taking away her passport once she arrives to Spain so she can fulfill her obligations.
