An expert on the famed astrologer Nostradamus who accurately predicted the Queen’s death revealed on Wednesday that he believes that King Charles will be forced to abdicate the throne and that his successor may unexpectedly be Prince Harry.
Mario Reading, an author who released his interpretations of some of Nostradamus’ predictions in his 2005 book “Nostradamus: Complete Prophecies for the Future,” was able to accurately predict that the Queen would die this year based on Nostradamus’s teachings, according to the New York Post.
“The preamble is that Queen Elizabeth II will die, circa 2022, at the age of around ninety-six, five years short of her mother’s term of life,” Reading wrote in 2005.
Since the rediscovery of his book, many have taken to wondering what other possible predictions Reading may have interpreted from Nostradamus’s work, and he claims that King Charles III would be pushed out of his monarch role by the British public due to disapproval of his divorce with Princess Diana, 7 News reported.
“[The] resentments held against him by a certain proportion of the British population, following his divorce from Diana, Princess of Wales, still persist,” he wrote. “The pressure on him is so great, and his age so much against him, that Charles agrees to abdicate in favor of his elder son, Prince William.”
He also predicts that, during Charles’ reign, that the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth will get significantly smaller as he claims that Canada, New Zealand, and Australia will break away from the U.K. now that the Queen has died.
“Prince Charles will be crowned in her stead, and become ‘King of the Islands’, the implication here being that he is no longer king of the other regions in the world over which his mother reigned – Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc. – which will have, in the interim, become republics.”
In a final interpretation, he also claims that Prince Harry, crowned King Henry IX in his book, will become King instead of Prince William, though he does not elaborate as to how.
Despite these predictions, there is no indication that either Prince Harry or Prince William will get the throne anytime soon. However, protests against the monarchy, and Charles in particular, have been heating up, potentially opening up an abdication if Charles grows too unpopular with the public, the Latin Times reported.
