Why Rihanna Is Dubbed As The Richest Female Musician In The World

Rihanna has just been named as the world’s richest female musician by Forbes. The 31-year-old reportedly has a $600 million fortune.

According to Forbes, Rihanna is even wealthier than Beyoncé, who has wealth worth $400 million. Other than her successful music career, Rihanna’s cosmetics line has also helped boost her fortune.

Fenty Beauty was launched in 2017 at Sephora. One year later, the company made an estimated $570 million. The success of Fenty Beauty may be owed to the brand’s social media presence. The cosmetics line is also different from its competitors because it offers expansive foundation options to fit for various skin tones.

Rihanna partnered with LVMH, a French luxury goods conglomerate, for Fenty Beauty, and the partnership led to the creation of a fashion line called Fenty in Paris. The brand was first announced last month.

“Rihanna will become the first woman to create an original brand at LVMH, the first woman of color at the top of an LVMH Maison, and her line will be the first new house created by the group since Christian Lacroix in 1987,” the New York Times reported. Additionally, Rihanna also has a lingerie line called Savage x Fenty.

On her Instagram account, Rihanna announced that her new lingerie collection will be launched on Wednesday at midnight. The “Umbrella” singer also posed for a series of photos wearing some of the pieces from her collection.

In one of the photos, Rihanna is wearing a neon yellow bra and underwear with matching stockings. In another snap, the singer is wearing brown bra and thongs with matching golden-brown stockings.

Some A-listers have been spotted wearing pieces from Rihanna’s collection. The latest of them all is Bella Hadid, who was photographed in a white oversized above-the-knee coat dress. Hadid was spotted in New York in the unique piece of clothing just before the CFDA Awards.

Rihanna herself has also worn some of the pieces from her Fenty label. In one of her photos, the singer is wearing her long-sleeved jeans dress with a thigh-high slit. She also donned a white top and brown mini skirt with an oversized trench coat.
