Prince Harry is worried about Prince George and Princess Charlotte growing up soon due to a shocking reason. The Duke of Sussex previously said that he is in a big rush to make changes to the royal family before the younger royals take over.
Royal commentator Angela Levin shared her conversation with the Duke of Sussex to Yahoo’s “The Royal Box.” “One of the things he said to me, though, was that he was in a big rush to make changes and to do something that’s really valuable,” she said. “Because, he said, ‘all too soon George and Charlotte will be hogging all the films’ and he will be eclipsed,” she added.
Levin added that Prince Harry has to run and do things very quickly. Host Kate Thompson remarked that more people could become celebrities but only a few could become royals. “So they are limited positions aren’t they that are available,” she said.
“But they’re also the longevity,” royal author Duncan Larcombe replied. “We talk about celebrities as though once you’re famous that’s it, but celebrity careers come and go,” he added.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry made headlines this week after it was revealed that he will soon travel to Angola with Meghan Markle as part of their Africa tour. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex would team up with a charity that’s close to Princess Diana’s heart.
One of the highlights of the royal couple’s trip is the possibility of bringing their 1-month-old son to Africa. If the plans push through, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor would only be around for some parts of the tour.
Prince Harry and Meghan recently split from Prince William and Kate Middleton’s charities under the Royal Foundation. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be focusing on their own charities as a couple, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will also do the same with the charities close to their hearts.
Royal correspondent Russell Myers said that the decision to go their separate ways has a lot to do with Prince William’s future role as the Prince of Wales and king.
