Prince George and Princess Charlotte seldom play with nonroyal kids because the situation is regarded as tricky. And as such, the royal siblings have no other choice but to play and depend on each other.

While speaking with People, an unnamed source noted the fact that Prince George and Princess Charlotte are very close in age. This means that they shouldn’t have any problems when playing with each other.

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s kids are heirs to the throne. And their status as royals means that their safety and security are of utmost importance. Unlike nonroyal children, who can go to sleepovers or invite their friends to their home, there seems to be an extra layer of caution when it comes to Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

And since Prince George is only 6 years old and Princess Charlotte is just 4 years old, they are more commonly seen with their parents and royal relatives rather than their friends. Growing up, Prince William and Prince Harry also experienced the same thing.

When the Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex were still very young, they were oftentimes photographed with Prince Charles and Princess Diana. During royal outings, they were also photographed with Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.

On some occasions, they also hung out with their cousins, Peter Phillips, Zara Tindall, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. It was only after Prince William and Prince Harry went to school that they were photographed with their friends.

But even then, Prince Charles made sure that the paparazzi won’t stalk his son when he went to high school and college. And as such, it wasn’t very common for Prince William and Prince Harry to be photographed with their peers.

When Prince George and Princess Charlotte get older and start going to school, they will most likely be photographed with their friends. And when they’re much older, they will already be able to take care of themselves when they’re out in public.

Meanwhile, Prince George and Princess Charlotte were last seen at the charity regatta, where their parents competed against each other. The young girl hilariously made headlines after she stuck her tongue out at grandfather Michael Middleton.
