Kate Middleton and Prince William have been married for eight years, and they still seem to be madly in love. But despite their long-term relationship, is it possible for the Duchess of Cambridge to have regrets about marrying the Duke of Cambridge?

The mom of three has not lived a quiet and private life ever since she started dating Prince William while they were still studying at the University of St. Andrews. As such, some royal fans are convinced that Kate might have regret settling down with the future king.

In 2007, after the couple split for the second time, rumors swirled that Prince William was unsure about his feelings for Kate. A royal expert also said that Prince William didn’t want to settle down. But after realizing what he lost, Prince William decided to get back together with Kate.

After rekindling their romance, the press hounded Kate amid rumors that she and Prince William will get engaged soon. She was branded as “Waity Katie” because she has been with Prince William for years and yet the royal hasn’t proposed to her.

Three years later, Prince William finally asked for Kate’s hand in marriage, and she said yes. The couple tied the knot on April 29, 2011. Despite all of the media attention she has received, it seems that there is one reason why Kate couldn’t have regretted marrying Prince William.

If the two of them didn’t end up together, Kate wouldn’t have been blessed with three adorable royal children. In 2013, she and her husband welcomed Prince George, who is currently third in line to the throne. Two years later, Princess Charlotte was born. Last year, the couple welcomed their third child, Prince Louis.

There are rumors that Kate could be pregnant with her fourth child. And even though nothing has been announced yet, royal fans were convinced that she’s already expecting after she was photographed cradling her baby bump at the Royal Ascot.

If Kate and Prince William didn’t end up together, having heirs to the throne wouldn’t have been possible.
