A New York City Council candidate has found himself in the midst of a kinky situation after video footage of himself enjoying a session of bondage and sadomasochism has been making rounds in Twittersphere. The said video was allegedly filmed about 18 months ago and captured Zack Weiner, 26 deep into a BDSM ritual.
The screenwriter, actor and City Council aspirant had no qualms admitting that he had indeed participated in the BDSM session and made no effort to deny any assumptions that it was him in the footage.
In the video taken during a Halloween party in 2019, Weiner could be seen gagged while he was being subjected to role play “abuse” by a leather clad femme dom who was pouring wax on him and clipping clothespins onto his nipples.

The venue where the footage was shot was taken at Parthenon studio in Midtown. The recreation haunt is a popular go-to for BDSM enthusiasts especially as its BDSM dungeons are known to be fully equipped to the hilt.
"My magnificent domme friend played with Upper West Side city council candidate Zack Weiner and I'm the only one who has the footage,” read a tweet from an anonymous account which posted the video last week. The account was reported and suspended, however, a screenshot from the video has been posted to Weiner’s Facebook campaign page.
In a statement given to the New York Post, Weiner acknowledged the footage and said, “I didn't want anyone to see that, but here we are. I am not ashamed of the private video circulating of me on Twitter. This was a recreational activity that I did with my friend at the time, for fun.”
“I am a proud BDSMer. I like BDSM activity,” he added. Weiner further explains that he was not sure how the footage has surfaced as he remains mum on the name of the woman engaged in the role play with him. Word has it, his female dominatrix was a former girlfriend.
The aspiring candidate, who suddenly found the spotlight on him after being mostly considered a nonentity in the race for the Upper West Side’s 6th District, described the video post as a definite violation of trust.
His campaign manager Joe Gallagher said they have reported the malicious Twitter account however the social media platform later reinstated it after briefly taking it offline. “Twitter is pretty loose about this stuff,” Gallagher said.
