Adam Levine
Just look at him, doesn't he deserve to be the sexiest man alive? We think so! Wireimage

Rumor has it Adam Levine will be announced as "Sexiest Man Alive" by People Magazine next week on Nov. 20. He was asked about it on Friday's "Today" show but seemed reluctant to say anything and squirmed as he was being questioned. "Today" cohost Savannah Guthrie asked about possibly being short listed by the magazine, but the 34-year-old offered a rather inhibited response. "I don't believe you," he said, embarrassed. However, Savannah insisted, and then wondered whether he'd be excited about it and if it would be a "good resume builder," but the Maroon 5 front man blushed and replied, "Noooo."

"No," he reiterated. "It would be a lot of things. It's an interesting idea. I don't know." Guthrie then questioned whether he was holding anything back, but Levine went on saying, "I know nothing." However, Gossip Cop has reported that they learned exclusively that the rumor was in fact a reality. They have also been very accurate with past title holders. They did report Channing Tatum was going to be last year's Sexiest Man Alive more than a week before it was actually announced. Bradley Cooper and Ryan Reynolds have also been recipients of this title, in 2011 and 2010 respectively.

Although Adam has been in the "Sexiest Man Alive" issue before, he has never been the top choice. This has been quite an eventful year for Levine, who keeps on gracing "The Voice" with his gorgeous presence, had a special appearance on "American Horror Story," and got engaged to model Behati Prinsloo back in July. Also, Maroon 5 is planning a European tour with Robin Thicke in early 2014. What do you think? Does Adam Levine deserve to be People's "Sexiest Man Alive" this year? Why or why not?
