The White House used Valentine's Day as an opportunity to send a new message to undocumented immigrants as part of its crackdown.

"Roses are red, violets are blue, come here illegally and we'll deport you," reads the message, posted against a pink backdrop filled with hearts and the faces of President Donald Trump and border czar Tom Homan.

It is not the first harsh institutional move from the White House, asides from President Trump's highly vocal vow to conduct what he has described as the largest deportation operation in American history.

Right after Trump took office, the White House removed its Spanish-language website, telling users to "Go Home." The move sparked intense backlash, leading to a quiet update to "Go to Home Page." The change occurred following TikTok creator @thespacemechanic's viral video spotlighting the wording.

The Trump administration is seeking to increase the pace of deportations, with two top Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials demoted as Trump is reportedly frustrated with the current pace.

oncretely, Russell Hott and Peter Berg, officials in the enforcement division, have been reassigned. Todd Lyons, who led the ICE field office in Boston, is not the acting head of ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations, NBC News reported.

The shakeup comes after Trump reportedly told aides that the current pace of deportations is "too f---ing low," according to NewsNation. The outlet quoted an aide saying that even though border czar Tom Homan and ICE are "doing a great job," they "have got to do more." Trump also said on Sunday that he supported Homan's work. The outlet detailed that ICE averaged 787 arrests per day in the last week of January.
