MIAMI - Music enthusiasts from around the world are gearing up for one of the most anticipated events in the music festival calendar, Vive Latino 2024. Set to take place on March 16th and 17th at Mexico City's Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, this festival not only celebrates the vibrant Latin music scene but also showcases a diverse array of international acts, making it a truly global event.
Organized by the entertainment company Ocesa, the Vive Latino Festival, officially known as the Ibero-American Festival of Musical Culture, has been an annual event since 1998 (except for 1999, 2002, and 2021), featuring a diverse range of alternative music genres.
Vive Latino has evolved from its rock origins to include everything from electronic to regional Mexican music, showcasing both established and emerging artists. While primarily focusing on Ibero-American musicians, it has increasingly featured international artists, adding to its eclectic and global appeal.
This year's lineup features a mix of genres ranging from synth-pop to rock, folk, and beyond. Headliners include the best of the best in Latin music. Among them is the Mexican synth-pop band Belanova, marking their first major performance after a hiatus. Other notable acts are Fito Páez, Panteón Rococó, Jorge Drexler, Maná, La Adictiva, and many more, bringing a rich blend of rhythms and styles to the stage.
The lineup also boasts international artists like Portugal The Man, Kings of Leon, and Greta Van Fleet, catering to a wide range of musical tastes.
