The Brooklyn Nets are a never-ending roller coaster filled with ups and downs. After a dramatic offseason, trade requests, and a fired coach, the Nets have won 6 in a row and 9 of their last 10.
The Nets are being led by their two stars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, who are both playing at a high level right now. Durant has his name in the MVP conversation and Irving is scoring at an elite level. Ben Simmons has looked more comfortable of late and there’s still some room for him to play better.
KEVIN DURANT scored 26 of his 43 POINTS in the 3rd quarter ?

Jacque Vaughn as the new coach has changed things for the Nets. They’ve been significantly better on defense while maintaining their good offense. They’ve also been better at rebounding which has been a major weakness for them all season.

The Nets are also getting contributions from guys on the margin. TJ Warren and Yuta Watanabe weren’t expected to be major contributors but have carved out roles for themselves. Nic Claxton has been defending at a near All-Defensive level.

The Nets are now 4th in the Eastern Conference after a tumultuous start to the season. Things are finally looking up for them but the still have a ways to go before they are considered serious title contenders. Still, they appear to be on the right track.
