
The moment boxing fans have been waiting over a half a decade for is finally upon us when Floyd "Money" Mayweather steps into the ring against Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao on Saturday, May 2nd at the MGM Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas.
Whether you are in Sin City or planning on watching the fight from home, the Latin Times has all the info you need to know on the schedule of events for the self-proclaimed "fight of the century."
If you are staying in Las Vegas this weekend and are one of the lucky few thousand people who will actually be in the arena for the fight, the doors to the venue open at 2:00PM PST (local time), with the first fight of the day scheduled for 3:00PM PST.
The main event, Mayweather vs Pacquiao will unify three championship belts within the welterweight division: the World Boxing Council belt, the World Boxing Organization belt and the World Boxing Association belt. Both fighters are expected to enter into the ring around 8:00PM PST (local time) and 11:00PM EST.
The fight is available on HBO PPV and Showtime PPV on all cable providers for $99.99. Both fighters are projected to make a payday of over $300 million for the 12 round bout.
