What Is 420? 17 Ways Urban Dictionary Defines Weed Day

What is 420 anyway? We all have a meaning for 420. In popular culture it has been known as "Weed Day" or "Marijuana Appreciation Day" thanks to those kids from San Rafael, California. A group of young folks known as the Waldo's went on a search for a cannabis crop they learned out about. The group decided they would meet at the Louis Pasteur statue on the San Rafael High School campus as their meeting spot right at 4:20pm. The referred to their plan as "4:20 Louis," but after multiple attempts at locating the crop, they simply called it "4:20." The term was popularized after a reporter for High Times wrote about them.
