We are down to the final two episodes of "The Voice" and tomorrow night a winner will be crowned. Last week on "The Voice" Jacquie Lee, Tessanne Chin and Will Champlin made it to the final three. The three finalists will go head to head and attempt to win America over and become the Season 5 champion. There are only two coaches left in the race -- Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera. Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green have been eliminated. The Odds favor Team Xtin's Jacauie, and with her strong vocals and knock out performances, it is not hard to see why. But just because she is the favorite does not mean Ms. Jacquie will have an easy time taking out her competition. The three singers left in the competition will have to work hard to win America's votes tonight to be crowned "The Voice" Season 5 winner. It will be no easy task, and it's hard to know who will win.
Last week Chin gave fans her strongest performance all season when she sang "Bridge Over Troubled Water" which saw her hit number one on iTunes. If Chin were to win she would be the first contestant of Asian descent to win a singing competition in the United States. Chin has an advantage over her competitors as she has spent years working as a backup singer to reggae icon Jimmy Cliff. Jacquie Lee is only 16-years old and not as experienced as Chin, while Champlin has been inconsistent in his performances having been saved from elimination twice. Season 5 had a number of talented singers and many who did not deserve to go home went home all season long. Some of our favorites that we miss are Caroline Pennell, Kat Robichaud, Matthew Schuler, Preston Pohl and Holly Henry from way back.
While many were hopeful that three time "The Voice" winner coach Blake Shelton would have a singer or two in this year's finale the coach's final contestant was eliminated dashing al hope of a fourth year victory. Country singer Cole Vosbury was sent home last week along with coach Adam Levine's James Wolpert. Tomorrow some big names will perform including Lady Gaga, Celine Dion and Ne-Yo for the grand finale. The two part "The Voice" finale will start tonight at 8pm ET and continue tomorrow at 9pm ET on NBC. The winner will be crowned based votes from viewers, as well as iTunes downloads.
