Watch "Under the Dome," episode 2, "The Fire" live stream online at CBS. Last week was the premiere of Stephen King's new thriller and we are already hooked! In episode 1, we watched as the small Maine town of Chester's Mill was unexpectedly separated from the rest of the world by a invisible force field in the shape of a huge dome. Episode 1 set the stage for a lot of interesting character lines, we see Barbie burying a body woods, we later discover that Barbie was burying the local newspaper editor's husband. Barbie is staying at the editor's house and realizes that he killed her husband, so that should be awkward. We also meet car dealer and crooked politician Big Jim, who is seen stockpiling propane; all the while his frighteningly obsessive son Junior locks up his "girlfriend" Angie in his father's fallout shelter.
In the second episode of season 1, chaos will intensify under the terrifying dome. Amidst fear and chaos goes up in flames, which poses as a great threat to the residents stuck in the dome, because the fire department is on the outside of the invisible shield. This is the full synopsis of the upcoming episode, according to CBS: "While the residents of Chester's Mill face the uncertainty of life in the dome, panic is heightened when a house goes up in flames and their fire department is outside of the dome."
