Season1 of "The Tomorrow People" continues tonight and some questions are getting answered. In episode 4 "Kill or be Killed" fans noticed that something was missing from the hit sci-fi series, Astrid. Last week's episode showed some of the serious implications of Stephen's advanced abilities, not everyone understand it and some people may not accept it. During the third episode "Girl, Interrupted" Astrid discovered that Stephen wasn't exactly normal, and while she was brave enough to confront him about his otherworldly abilities, Stephen wasn't so forthcoming with her. Astrid is currently feeling a mountain of emotions, ranging between being rather terrified of Stephen and also being fascinated by his powers, regardless if it's fear or intrigue, Astrid wants to know what's going on and in tonight's episode "All Tomorrow's Parties" she is going to finally get some answers!
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Madeline Mantock who plays Astrid in the CW series "The Tomorrow People" revealed what her character is currently going through. Astrid is very conflicted about Stephen and his new "lifestyle," the actress explains that Astrid first believes Stephen being a part of the Tomorrow People is "actually quite brilliant." But then Astrid soon begins to realize the implications of this new world, "they're not just allowed to run around, they're all being hunted by this organization. For anybody, it's a lot to discover. Fantastic, you can do cool stuff but also, are you in any danger and if so, how can we keep you safe?"
Mantock also teased fans that Astrid may discover the whole truth about Stephen's secret tonight on episode 5! "She just wants to know," Mantock told Entertainment Weekly. The actress continued to explain her character's quest for the truth, "She's not judging him. She's saying, 'I think I saw this, did I?' By the end of episode 5, her mind kind of has changed and she's not as, let's just say Stephen may come to her with something."
The fifth episode of "The Tomorrow People" airs tonight, on the CW at 9pm. If you miss "All Tomorrow's Parties" you can watch online via live stream available at CWTV.com.
