Following the action-packed season 9 premiere of “Supernatural,” the storyline will slow down a little bit, but only to provide some background and set fans up for an even bigger demonic bombshell. Episode 2 “Devil May Care” begins with a serious reveal, now that Sam has regained consciousness, it’s time for Dean to show his brother just what he has been up to. Cue Crowley! Dean actually lets Crowley out of the surprisingly spacious Impala trunk. But this is not a good-natured release, the boys need answers and Crowley has them. Sam and Dean interrogate Crowley inside the “Men of Letters” bunker, they want the names of demons who are dwelling on Earth.
Getting answers out of Crowley may take some Winchester charm but we don’t doubt that Sam and Dean will figure out a way, unfortunately Crowley isn’t their only problem. Abaddon is back and on a quest to takeover Hell, and kill all hunters in the process. Damn this proclaimed “Knight of Hell,” and his stupid quest. Abaddon will get the Winchesters attention when, they get “word of a few of their hunter contemporaries that have been taken hostage.” In tonight’s episode “Devil May Care” Abaddon will lead the Winchesters outside Eugene, Oregon, but the most exciting part of the episode will be the revelation as to just how Abaddon is able to capture hunters with the help of other demons.
So when I said the action will slow down, I lied. Watch “Devil May Care” to see Sam and Dean interrogate Crowley, track down fellow hunters, make a plan to finally eliminate Abaddon for good, all while trying to uncover the mysterious past of the “Men of Letters” organization.
