Last week on "Sons of Anarchy" the Irish responded to Jax's request to get out of the gun distribution business by planting a bomb inside the clubhouse. The Irish led Jax to believe that they were seriously considering Jax's proposal to hand off the gun distribution to Pope Industries. The Irish tell Jax to convene a table at 8pm and Jax lets them know it will be a full house. When Jax returns to the clubhouse all of the Charming charter plus their families, including Tara and the boys are waiting.
After two members of the Sons of Anarchy were brutally killed by the Irish, Jax put everyone on lockdown. When Jax arrived back at the clubhouse he noticed a keg of beer oddly placed and asked Chucky about it. Chucky said it was just recently delivered. Jax and Chibs quickly realized it was a bomb and tells everyone to get out. Tara has Thomas but Able is still in the back room. Jax runs back for his son. Just as Jax and able exit the club house, the building explodes behind them.
There is nothing left of the building where SAMCRO would hold chapel except a pile of rubble. In tonight's episode titled "Salvage" we see Jax come to the realization that a war has started between the Sons and the Irish. This is not something that Jax wanted but the SAMCRO king is not going to let his club be destroyed and will retaliate with a vengeance. The one thing that is more important to Jax than his club is his family. Unfortunately Jax has no idea his family life is about to go up in flames much like his clubhouse.
In the promo for tonight's episode we see the clubhouse explode once again. We hear Jax say "our clubhouse blowing up last night, that's a sign of the times. Sons of Anarchy is at a crossroads." In the promo we see the Sons taking retaliation to the next level. Juice beats up a cop and Jax breaks a man's arm. Jax has been so consumed by the drama with the club he has no idea what is happening at home. Tara believes that she will be going back to jail.
Now Tara's main priority is getting her boys, Able and Thomas out of Charming. Tara enlists the help of an unlikely ally in Wendy, Able's birth mother. Tara and Wendy are working together to ensure Wendy can take the boys out of Charming when Tara is sent back to jail. Tara is planning on divorcing Jax and using the clubs dangerous activity to take custody of the boys from Jax. The one thing Tara wants more than anything is to make sure Gemma does not have access to Thomas and Able.
In the promo we hear Tara tell Unser "if I have to go to jail I'm not letting my boys stay in Charming." Jax really has no idea what is coming with Tara. You have to figure that Jax believes Tara is still upset about her time in jail but as far as the viewer can tell Jax believes he and his wife will work out their problems eventually. Tonight's episode looks to be just as action packed as the last. In the promo we see Jax on the phone with one of the Irish gun suppliers.
The Irishman tells Jax "We all want the same thing Jax." The SAMCRO president responds by saying "no we don't. I didn't want a war." "Sons of Anarchy" will air tonight on FX at 10pm ET.
