Friday was media day for the MLS Cup and both the Los Angeles Galaxy and the New England Revolution met with the press ahead of the biggest game in American soccer. Both head coaches, Bruce Arena and Jay Heaps as well the four biggest stars in MLS met with the media at StubHub Center in Carson, CA.
In the first video below, Bruce Arena, Landon Donovan and Robbie Keane talk about the matchup with the Revolution, which award would Keane rather win: the MVP or the MLS Cup, and the emotional impact of the final game of Donovan’s career.
In the second video below, New England Revolution head coach, Jay Heaps, Lee Nguyen and Jermaine Jones discuss the Revs’ roller coaster season, going up against the Goliath that is the Galaxy, and embracing the role of underdogs.
The MLS Cup will kickoff on Sunday at 3:00PM EST and can be seen live on ESPN, UniMas, Univision Deportes, and TSN1.
