Tonight is an all new episode of "MasterChef Junior" and the 12 remaining kids compete in their first mystery box challenge. If you don't know what a mystery box challenge is, it is simply a series of ingredients that is unknown to the contestant, which the contestant must prepare a meal in the allotted time given to them. Later in the episode the kids must also compete to create an elevated, restaurant-quality burger in only 60 minutes. It will be interesting to see which kids will come out on top and elevate to the next level in the competition.

It seems a twist has been thrown into the mystery box competition. To help the kids with the mystery box competition the kids all get a tablet to, "Skype-A-Friend," or family member to help them come up with a delicious recipe for the challenge. The kids only have three minutes to ask for the advice they need to come up with something scrumptious to make. This challenge is definitely something most of these kids have never experienced and it will be interesting to see what they come up with and who they call for help with their lifeline.

Last week's episode topped ratings when 24 of the best junior home cooks in the country between the ages of eight and 13 created their tastiest seafood, pasta or dessert dishes in the auditions round and present it to the MasterChef judging panel which include: the notorious Chef Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastiancich and Graham Elliot. Only 12 kids were chosen to move on to the next stage of the competition to become one-step closer to becoming America's youngest MasterChef.
