Jennifer Lopez was honored at Premios Billboard 2017 with the Telemundo Star Award for her career and being a great example for all Latinos around the world. In the presentation Demi Lovato, Prince Royce, Sofía Vergara and Rihanna were some of the celebrities that congratulated the superstar. JLo also premiered her new single called "Tan Solo Mírame" from her upcoming Spanish-language album.
"I am full of joy with sharing the night with all these artists that I admire, my family in life and my family in music," she said. "Returning to music and my roots mean more than any words. Moments like these are due to hard work and we are lucky if life blesses us this way. I feel blessed if this creative community full of talent and of having the opportunity of representing our people and Latin people all over the world. I feel at home, I love you all. I am humbled to be here in your presence and to accept this award."
Who is hosting and presenting at Premios Billboard 2017?
Kate del Castillo and Carlos Ponce are set to host the live show from The Watsco Center at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.The network has an all-star line-up of musical artists, actors and television personalities who will take the stage as presenters for the awards show, including Colombian hip-hop and alternative music band ChocQuibTown, Mario Kreutzberger, known worldwide as Don Francisco, Puerto Rican songstress Ednita Nazario, Colombian singer Fanny Lu, Dominican singer and songwriter Juan Luis Guerra, regional Mexican powerhouse La Arrolladora Banda El Limón de René Camacho.
Other confirmed presenters include “La Querida del Centauro” lead actor Michel Brown, Puerto Rican tropical star Olga Tañon, television personality Rosie Rivera, romantic pop duo Sin Bandera and Mexican pop singer Sofia Reyes. They will be joined by personalities like Ana Maria Polo, Alberto Guerra, Angelica Celaya, Chiquis, Maria Leon, Danna Paola, Demian Bichir, Eva Longoria, Eugenio Derbez, and Maria Celeste Arraras.
