Do not miss an all-new episode of "How I Met Your Mother" on Monday night! The episode will be aired on CBS at 8 p.m. EST. You can also catch it from Tuesday morning on CBS.com and Hulu.

After three weeks in the making, Monday night will see a new episode of the successful gang show "How I Met Your Mother." Episode 21 of season 8 will bring us one step closer to the big finale, which promises a wedding, a move, and, at last, a showing of the mysterious "mother."

Season 8 has shown many developments for our characters: from Ted Mosby finally deciding to stop dating and settle down, to Lily Aldrin finally landing her dream job as an arts consultant, to Robin Scherbatsky and Barney Stinson overcoming their commitment phobia and agreeing to tie the knot.

This upcoming episode will show a new development in Lily's career, as she gets an offer from her boss, the Captain, to move to Rome for a year to scope out the art scene for possible deals. This will open a serious conundrum for the recent mother, as she might have to leave behind her husband and baby - as she did in the season 1 finale, to mixed results.

Meanwhile, Barney is struggling with his new condition as an engaged man. His days of bar and bed hopping are long gone, and the former playboy will try to find comfort in his last single friend ... only to arrive to a crossroad that might mean problems with his fiancee.
